We are so very proud to share with you that we won the Deluxe Accommodation category at the 2017 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards!
The Awards, which showcase outstanding customer service, innovation and ongoing business excellence, were presented at a Gala Dinner last weekend at Crown Perth.
Along with other Kununurra and Kimberley Finalists, our Managers, Colin and Fiona, travelled to Perth to celebrate becoming Finalists for the second year in a row, not imagining for a minute that the Country Club might take a medal in its category.
“People are at the heart of everything we do - so Colin and I extend special thanks to our staff, past and present, for their passion and commitment since 2014.
The nomination process is valuable as a thorough health check for the business - but to win a medal, well, that’s something we plan to celebrate for just a little longer!” says Fiona.
The gold medallists in categories 1 to 25 will go on to represent Western Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, held at Perth Stadium on February 23, 2018.
On the back of Kununurra being named Australia’s #1 Regional Destination by Experience Oz & NZ, Kununurra was well represented among finalists and medal winners - from accommodation to tours and tour guides.
